Overview
Celsius Casino was established in 2020 by Celsius Holdings N.V. and combined a casino with a sportsbook and a crypto-heavy cashier. Its status is now the main issue: AskGamblers states that Celsius Casino has been terminated, and Casino Guru labels it a "zombie casino", meaning players cannot reach anyone at the casino. Licence information is also inconsistent: Casino Guru lists an Anjouan (Comoros) licence, AskGamblers lists the Anjouan Gaming Board, and a user complaint alleges an earlier Curaçao licence was terminated. We found no evidence that it targets Canadian players. It is not licensed in Ontario; Ontario residents should use iGaming Ontario-registered sites (see our Ontario page).
Games and software
When active, AskGamblers described more than 7,000 games from about 90 providers and 800+ live casino titles, including Evolution and Pragmatic Play Live, plus a sportsbook. Casino Guru's Gamecheck found no fake games. AskGamblers notes RTPs were not publicly audited and there were no progressive jackpots. Given the casino's status, the size of the library is far less important than whether withdrawals are paid.
Bonuses and promotions
Our data lists a 100% first-deposit bonus and a 200% second-deposit bonus, and Casino Guru records offers such as 100% up to €300 with extra spins. Wagering is not published, and one user review describes it as very high. AskGamblers notes deposits must be wagered at least 3x before withdrawal. A player complaint says an advertised no-deposit bonus was refused. We would not claim any bonus here; our bonus and payment method guide explains how terms can restrict withdrawals.
Mobile experience
AskGamblers listed a mobile casino accessible on most devices, with no dedicated app.
Customer support
Support appears to be the critical failure. AskGamblers lists 24/7 live chat and email but could not find live chat for unregistered users. Casino Guru says support is English-only with no live chat, and elsewhere states the casino has no customer support. The website is available in French, but support is not.
Safety, licence and reputation
Casino Guru gives Celsius a Low Safety Index of 3.5 and lists 53 complaints, 15 unresolved, about delayed or rejected withdrawals, blocked accounts, delayed refunds and poor communication. It says the casino does not cooperate with its complaint specialists, and it flags terms allowing confiscation of winnings for Martingale or low-risk play. AskGamblers shows six complaints with none resolved, averaging $11,219. Withdrawal limits were €5,000–€10,000 per month depending on the source. Responsible gambling tools were minimal, with irreversible self-exclusion by email only. If you have funds there, document every contact; our withdrawal guide and responsible gambling page may help.

Limits often differ by payment method and VIP level, and casinos can change them without notice. Large withdrawals may be split into instalments and usually require completed KYC verification.
How to deposit at Celsius Casino
Celsius Casino does not list Interac in the information we have, so Canadian players will typically use Visa or another listed method. Choose the method in the cashier, enter the amount and confirm with your provider. See how to deposit for a general walkthrough.
Withdrawals
Reported withdrawal times: E-wallets: 0–24 h; cards: 3–5 days; bank: 3–7 days. Expect identity checks (KYC) before the first payout, and note that casinos usually pay back to the method you deposited with where possible. Read how to withdraw and KYC verification before you request a cash-out.
Celsius Casino pros and cons
Pros
- Large library and sportsbook when active
- Wide crypto cashier
- French-language website
- Crypto payments accepted
Cons
- Listed as terminated by AskGamblers
- Low Casino Guru Safety Index (3.5) and 'zombie casino' flag
- Many unresolved withdrawal complaints
- Little or no reachable customer support
- Offshore licence: not regulated for Ontario
Our verdict
Celsius Casino should be avoided. AskGamblers lists it as terminated, Casino Guru flags it as unreachable with a low safety score, and both sites record unresolved complaints about unpaid withdrawals. No Canadian player should open an account or deposit here; choose an actively operating, better-rated brand instead.
